Miles is a nice dog who has hit a rough patch in his life. He likes to check out the environment, but checks back frequently, mainly because he loves to get attention. This big boy will even try to crawl in your lap. Miles is calm around other dogs. He gets excited for walks and may pull a bit on leash, but once out and about and with some basic training, he will improve.
Miles would thrive in a home that will give him lots of activity to help manage his weight and keep him from getting bored. He is a sweet heart and should be fine around children.
Miles is currently being treated for some skin/ear issues that seem to be from a flea allergy and poor nutrition. He will blossom quickly under better care.
Miles was brought into the Salinas Shelter as a stray and when his owner was contacted, they let the shelter staff know that they could no longer care for him and surrendered him.
